You do not need to be home for an opening. A few things we do require are:
- Access to the pool/hot tub.
- The outdoor faucet is operational.
- Breaker is turned ON
- Parts that were removed from the equipment during the winterization process are left out for us (typically stored in a bag or in the skimmer basket).
We do not clean the pool immediately after the opening, but we will include an initial 1 Kg shock treatment. If you do require help with the initial cleaning and water treatment, we’re able to give a quote for a spring clean-up service.
You can also get your spring-cleanup service done at no additional cost by signing up for an 8 week minimum summer maintenance plan. For more information, click here.
We accept all forms of payment (Visa, Mastercard, debit and e-transfers). Once the pool opening is complete, we will send an invoice to the email address provided. You will be given a couple days to review it before payment is required. Alternatively, you can pay in-person. Cash or cheque is also accepted.
If you booked a summer maintenance plan, you do not need to purchase any chemicals. We provide all the chemicals needed. You will not be charged for any additional visits during the spring clean-up period.
You will be notified at the beginning of your maintenance plan of the specific days we will be coming. If there are certain days you prefer us to come out, please give us notice and we’ll try our best to accommodate it.
Unless you are given a shock notice which requires you to stay out of the pool for a minimum 4 hours, you are free to swim whenever the technician is finished.
Additionally, a log book is left on site if you would like to keep track. The cleaning technician will record the time and date, measured water chemistry levels and any chemicals added.
It is difficult to specify exactly how many visits will be needed to complete a spring clean up. Please don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll be able to give you a free estimate.
If the issue is urgent (pump not working), give us a call during regular business hours or send us an email and we’ll quickly address it. We’re typically able to attend a call within a couple hours.
If you have any questions, we would be happy to answer them!
